Including a pair of deep bowls with butterflies and birds flocking
toward flowering branches painted in good detail with gilt highlights
(chips, one with hairline crack); and a pair of saucers with barbed
rims, painted with a bird on lotus plants, reversed with flowering
branches enameled on a coffee-brown ground and the base with
rabbit mark in iron red painted within an underglaze blue double ring
(chipped).

A SMALL WUCAI ENAMELED JAR
17th century
Thickly potted with a short neck and compressed ovoid body, with
underglaze blue striping and polychrome enamel decoration of
dragons chasing flaming pearls above phoenixes in flight on a glazed
ground that stops neatly along the rounded edge of the slightly
concave and unglazed base (enamels worn).

A FAMILLE VERTE ENAMELED CHARGER
Kangxi period
The barbed and canted rim painted with floral sprays in bloom within
interlaced cloud-collar frames while an auspicious crane and deer
appear in a courtyard amid planters of flowering plants and rocks
filling the shallow well, the reverse painted with further branches and
the recessed base displaying a ribboned lozenge mark in underglaze
blue (chips, hairline crack).
