by two disciples". Buddha is seated in dhyanasana on a square A Gandhara grey schist stone relief of "Bodhisattvas in
base covered by a draping, hands in meditation position in his lap, niches", part of a decorative panel. Two pointed niches
serenelooking face with halo backing the head, flanked by two with standing male bodhisattvas, the niches seperated by
male disciples, the scenery is framed by two square columns, two simplified versions of the Indo-Persepolis column with
voluminous wreaths fills the space between the figures. 3rd-4th bull capitals. 3rd-4th century AD. H. 19 cm. L. 35 cm.
