A Collection of Himalayan and
Chinese Art (lots 37-44)
The Danish collector of these objects was an industrialist, but most
of all a well-known collector. His collection of Himalayan art was
acquired from dealers in Denmark such as Lau Sunde. However,
part of his collection was also acquired in the saleroom of this
auction house. The following lots originate from this collection,
including lots 38, 43 and 44 which were catalogued by Ulrich
von Schroeder in his monumental publication from 1981 “Indo
Tibetan Bronzes”.
拥有这些拍品的丹麦收藏家是名实业家,却最以收藏家闻名遐迩;
