The rectangular lanterns each with glass panels
painted on the sides with various flowers and foliage,
set within and locked in place on carved a mythical
beast, all above an ornately carved waisted stand.

Late Qing Dynasty
The cover depicting an aquatic scene of a swimming
mandarin duck amidst rock formations, lotus
blossom, leaf and buds, all picked out in various
embellishments including silver, spinach green jade
and mother-of-pearl.
