picnic box, ti he
Early Qing Dynasty
With a narrow cover and three trays, the top panel
with ruyi-shaped fittings at the corners, set on a
base frame with spandrels carved in openwork
depicting stylised dragons, fastened in place by a
humpback handle secured by a metal pin through
the cover.
