         A LARGE FINELY CARVED PALE CELADON
         AND RUSSET JADE CARVING OF A
         MYTHICAL BEAST AND CUB GROUP
         QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
         The large boulder is finely carved as a seated single-horned beast
         with head turned backwards to face its three-stranded bushy tail,
         its mouth issuing lingzhi-form cloud fumes, together with a smaller
         cub by its neck. The stone is of a pale-greenish white tone with a
         soft polish, with concentrated areas of russet ‘skin’.
