The gently curving steel blade with central spine, the curved jade grip
carved with flowering plants, the pommel in the form of three buds
issuing from open leaves, the foliate hand guard joined to the pommel
with further buds, the sheath with yellow textile cover and gold
damascened steel mounts.

European style decoration of landscapes and portraits; the niello
silver hinged box of oval section raised on four pierced feet with floral
