A BLUE AND WHITE ‘THREE FRIENDS’ GU-FORM VASE
QING DYNASTY, 17TH-18TH CENTURY

The vase is decorated to the globular body in vibrant cobalt blue
with a continuous scene depicting the ‘three friends of winter’,
including pine trees, prunus and bamboo. This is similarly decorated
on the wide flaring neck.
