184 AN INSCRIBED QINGTIAN ‘LION’ SEAL
A GROUP OF FOUR TIANHUANG CARVINGS SIGNED WU YIN, LATE QING DYNASTY-REPUBLIC

The group is comprised of a small triangular seal carved in shallow The square columnar seal is carved with a finial in the form of a lion
relief with figures in landscape, two miniature seals with lion finials, and incised on one vertical side with a two-character signature,
and a miniature bean-shaped pendant with ruyi motifs. Shiqian, the pseudonym of Wu Yin (1866-1922). The seal face is
further carved with a four-character inscription.
Triangular seal: 1¡ in. (3.4 cm.) long, 28g; miniature seals: 6g;
pendant; 5g, boxes (4) 1√ in. (4.7 cm.) high, box, 45g
