beast with two horns and a bushy tail, above the signature Yuxuan          REPUBLIC PERIOD
incised on one vertical side, and a seven-character inscription in
relief on the seal face.                                                   Comprised of five variously carved chicken blood stone seals, of
                                                                           greyish or caramel tones suffused with vermillion-red inclusions;
1¬ in. (4 cm.) high, box                                                   and a tall soapstone seal carved with cloud scrolls in low relief, one
                                                                           side with an inscription.
