A FINELY CARVED ALOESWOOD
DUCK GROUP
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The material is carved in the round with a
large duck grasping a stalk of lingzhi in its
beak, its feet tucked underneath the body,
and two smaller ducks clinging against
it, one of which also with a lingzhi spray in
the beak, their plumage finely carved and
detailed.

A YIXING PEACH-FORM WASHER
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The cup is potted in the shape of a peach
fruit, moulded in high relief on the exterior
with a gnarled branch forming the handle,
bearing budding and flowering peach
blossoms and leaves.
