NOTE:
The recipient Chen Ying was a well-known
collector from China. He made friends with painters
and connoisseurs all over the country since the 1960s,
starting to collect a large number of calligraphy
and paintings of good quality. During the Cultural
Revolution, he protected and preserved many
classical paintings and calligraphy that were on the
verge of destruction, and assisted artists during their
hard times.
