NOTE:
The recipient was Liu Miansong (1919-
1983), a native of Fujian Province, who
was acquainted with Hong Yi in 1938 and
followed him to promote Buddhism. Hong
Yi named Liu “Shenghua” as his dharma
name. Liu Miansong and Feng Zikai are both
disciples of Hong Yi.

其取法名“勝華”，與豐子愷同為弘一
法師門下。
