A fine and rare apple-green jadeite bowl
Qianlong/Jiaqing
The translucent stone evenly coloured with bright apple-green
striations and elegantly carved as a very simply formed bowl raised
on a circular foot and with very slightly lipped rim.

The present lot is extraordinarily rare and striking in the quality of the
stone with its exquisite even tone of mottled emerald green and is
finely polished. Combining the superb carving skills, particularly at the
foot and rim, the rarity of this feature strongly suggests its association
with the Imperial court.
