           the disc carved to both sides with the ‘whirlpool’ pattern,
           the stone of an opaque beige colour with russet patches; the
           tubular ornament of a celadon tone with calcified inclusions
           8.8 and 5.1 cm, 3½ and 2 in.

           the disc: collection of Chaowan Ma, 1970s (label).
