carved facing an undercut chilong with a
leafy sprig in its mouth, crawling on the
curved shaft, the underside of the shaft with
a flat circular button, the translucent stone 8129
with some cloudy white inclusions.

The terminal carved in the form of a well-
detailed horse’s head, with two animated
monkeys contesting a peach, the playful pair
carved in the round and undercut, covering
the length of the curved shaft, the underside
with a flat oval button, the evenly colored
white stone with a lustrous polish. 8130
