a hibiscus. The reverse is decorated with further fower sprays.

A LARGE FAMILLE ROSE CORAL-RED-GROUND MOULDED
'GOURDS' SNUFF BOTTLE
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The double-gourd-form bottle is moulded with a design of bats amongst
fruiting and fowering gourds and vines, all decorated in bright famille
rose enamels, and reserved on a coral-red ground. The stopper is similarly
decorated.
