The octagonal surfaces inlaid with central
marble panels, within beaded edges,
the aprons carved in openwork relief
with blossoming prunus and foliage, the
serpentine legs carved with fruiting gourds
and bamboo, with crossed stretchers
enclosing a central carved bamboo roundel.
The tallest: 92cm (36 1/4in) high (3).

The stool with top concealed compartment,
carved with bamboo-shaped profiles,
