           Originating from Haicheng, Liaoning Province,
           Ning Fucheng (1897-1966) relocated to
Beijing in his 40s and established himself as
a professional artist. His mastery of the four
           literati arts—poetry, calligraphy, painting, and
seal carving—is epitomized in the set of four
paintings included in the present lot.
