A LARGE FAMILLE ROSE ‘MAGPIE’ VASE
YONGZHENG PERIOD (1723-1735)

清雍正 粉彩喜上眉梢紋瓶

The vase is decorated to the exterior with a pair of magpies perched on the branches of a blossoming
prunus tree with iron red bats and insects to the reverse. The neck is further embellished with a large
peony bloom and butterfies.
