YONGZHENG PERIOD (1723-1735)

The vase is decorated to the exterior with fowering peony and prunus branches growing from a gnarled
trunk, twisting and extending around the body of the vase, with several animated birds perched and fying
amongst the branches. The neck is enamelled with a grasshopper amongst foral sprays.
