A MOTTLED CELADON JADE SWORD POMMEL
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
明 青玉劍首
The pommel is of circular form and is carved to one side with two raised bands
encircling a pair of small pierced apertures to the centre. The stone is of an
attractive mottled celadon tone sufused with a network of brownish-black
streaks.

jade coiled dragon pendant; a celadon jade mystical beast-form carving; a
green jade rectangular pendant carved with scrolls; and a yellow jade tri-
bladed disc carved with a circular aperture to the centre.
