A PAIR OF CINNABAR LACQUER STEM CUPS
15TH CENTURY

明十五世紀 剔紅荔枝紋盃

Each cup is fnely carved to the exterior with lychees decorated with various diaper grounds, growing from
leafy foliage with two birds perched amongst the branches. The stems are carved with lingzhi sprigs. The
interiors and bases are lined with metal.
