A SMALL IVORY FIGURE OF SHOULAO
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)

明 象牙雕壽老立像

Shoulao is carved in a seated position with a characteristic tall forehead
and downcast eyes. He holds a staf in his left hand, while his right hand
rests upon his knee. He is dressed in long fowing robes tied at the waist.

A BRONZE TWO-HANDLED CENSER
17TH CENTURY

十七世紀 瑞獸耳銅爐

The censer is formed with a bulbous body and is cast to
the shoulders with two lion-head handles. There is an
apocryphal Xuande sixteen-character workshop mark to
the base.
