The jade is carved and pierced as a stylised Shou (Longevity)
character. The stone is of a pale and even tone with a few tiny
yellowish inclusions.

清十九世紀 青白玉鳳鳴在竹瓶
The group is carved with a phoenix standing on rocks,
its head turned over its shoulder towards a hollowed
bamboo stem, a leafy sprig of peaches in its beak. The
stone is of a pale celadon tone with russet veins.
