AN IVORY COCKADE FAN AND AN IVORY BRISÉ FAN
19TH CENTURY
清十九世紀 象牙外銷人物花卉紋扇 一組兩件
The cockade fan is fnely pierced with a small oval vignette enclosing
two fgures in a landscape, surrounded by fowers, leafy sprays and
squirrels; framed and glazed. The brisé fan is carved to the centre with
a cartouche enclosing the name ‘EMMA’, amongst fgures in a garden
and auspicious symbols. The guard sticks are carved with dragons and
immortals.
