           A CELADON GLAZED DRUM-FORM JAR
           Qianlong seal mark and of the period
           Of cylindrical form bulging at the middle, the circular mouth surrounded
           by a broad overhanging lip, the top and base each encircled with a
           raised band decorated with a row of raised bosses, the sides set with
           a pair of opposing monster mask and mock ring handles, covered
           overall with a soft blue-green glaze thinning to white over the raised
           decoration, the glaze wiped to leave an unglazed ring encircling the
           countersunk base centered with the underglaze-blue six-character seal
           mark.
