A LARGE AND UNUSUAL ENAMELED YIXING TEAPOT
19th century, signed Shao Yuanhua
The body decorated in famille rose with floral sprays within shaped
reserves against a ground of dense scrolling foliage executed in gilt,
the foot of the teapot impressed with two maker’s marks reading
Jingxi and Shao Yuanhua zhi, the domed cover similarly decorated and
surmounted by a bud finial.
