清 孔雀綠釉刻四季花紋盤
Gerald Davison in The New & Revised Handbook of Marks on Chinese
Ceramics (Somerset: G. Davison, 2010) pp. 123 and 271, translates
the mark as ‘Made for the Pavilion of Abstraction from Mundane
Affairs,’ explaining that this was a ‘studio name for [the] scholar official
Jichang from the Baidu clan.’ He dates the mark to the Qianlong and
Daoguang eras.
