PROVENANCE
Acquired directly from the artist, and thence by descent.
Born in Fujian, Lu Xinyu (1894-1948) received his Ph.D from
Columbia University. Lu served as a diplomat and spent much of his
career in the New York consulate offce, eventually becoming Consul
General. In the mid-1930s, he served for two years as vice-consul in
Havana, Cuba.

來源：直接得自畫家本人，並由家族傳承至今。
註：盧心畬（1894-1948）出生於福建省，在哥倫比亞大學獲得
博士學位。盧先生是一位外交官，長期駐留紐約領事館。盧先生
後擔任紐約領事館總領事。在二十世紀三十年代中期，他曾在古
巴哈瓦那領事館擔任副領事兩年。
