Finely carved with two ladies dressed in long robes, one recumbent,
the other standing and holding a floral spray, the horn section of a
bright orange hue, the base with an apocryphal six-character mark.

A LIAO-STYLE WOODEN FIGURE OF A BUDDHIST DEITY
19th or 20th century
The figure carved seated wearing long scholar’s robes, holding a
bottle, the cheerful face crowned with a five-petalled tiara with tassels,
all raised on a lotus stem base, the reverse with an inscription.
