The cinnabar lacquer lid carved in low relief with a Buddhist deity The curved strut carved all over in relief with a central seated figure in a
carrying a calabash on a stick, reserved on a fine diaper ground, grotto, possibly Guandi, surrounded by warriors or Buddhist protectors
each tier carved to the exterior with a dense peony spray on a yellow amongst cloud scrolls, covered in a thick layer of gilt-lacquer.
