Painted in red upon a Cup and Saucer of modern
porcelain, Nip-pon, Ku-tani, Iwa-zo. Iwazo, Kutani, Japan.
The lower character to the left of the inscription is read as
zo, being part of the maker’s name, and not as tsukuru, as
it generally is when found in this position.

Painted in red upon a covered Jar of good modern
polychromatic ware. Ku-tani, Iwa-zo seisu. Made by Iwazo,
Kutani.
No. 195.
Painted in red upon a Spill Pot of modern porcelain.
Dai Nip-pon, Ku-tani, Kin-to-sha sei. Made at the Kinto
factory, Ku-tani, Great Japan.
