No. 203.— Painted in gold, upon red panels, on a Teapot
of late period ware. Dai Nip-pon, Ku-tani ni oite Yei-raku
TSUKURU. Made by Yeirakn in Kutani, Great Japan. A member
of the Yeiraku family of Kioto settled in Kutani about twenty
years ago and introduced various improvements into the
decoration of the ware. No. 204.— Painted in red upon a
Bowl of late period ware. Ni oite Yei-raku Ku-tani
TSUKURU. Made by Yeiraku in Kutani.
Painted in blue upon a Dish of late period ware. The
inscription is the same as that on No. 203.
