Painted in blue upon Cups of porcelain, made in
Mino, and decorated in Tokio. Cho-so-sai Sai-ko ko. Made
by Chososai Saiko. Both inscriptions are the same.
No. 480.
Painted in red upon a Cup and Saucer of egg-shell
porcelain, made in Hizen, and decorated in Tokio. San-go-ku
icHi Mei-zan. Meizan, the first (maker) of the three countries,
Japan, India, and China, signifying the whole world. The
lower character is the maker’s seal.

Painted in red and black upon a Cup of porcelain, made
in Mino, and decorated in Tokio. Shun-zan hitsusu.
Painted by Shiinzan. The lower character is the painter’s
seal.
No. 482.
Painted in blue and red upon a sake Bottle of porcelain,
made in Mino, and decorated in Tokio. Shin-zan. Shinzan,
the name of the maker. The lower character is his seal
or that of the workshop.
