                                         No.  535.

               Painted   in  red upon   a  large  sake Cup  of Mino porce-
          lain.  Gets-sho.    Getsho,  the name   of the maker or painter.






                                         No. 536.

               Painted   in  blue, under the glaze, upon     a  sake Cup   of
           Mino porcelain.   The mark of the maker.       It  is very seldom
          that any mark,     except  that  of the  painter,  is  placed upon
           Mino porcelain.    Numerous examples      of the latter are given
          in  the  division  of Tokio   painting.








                                         No. 537.
               Incised upon    a Vase    of  Takatori   stoneware, made     at
           Sohara,  in  the province   of Chikuzen.    /Ci,  the name of the
           maker.
