                 Painted  in gold upon    a Writing Case     of choice  carved
            lacquer.   Asa-kusa, Kin-riu-zan no dzu.       Vieiv of the temple
            of Kinriuzan, in the garden of Asakusa, the scene with which
            the case   is  decorated.














                                           No. 627.

                 Painted   in  gold   upon   the  Writing   Case   referred  to
            above.   Ye-do mei-sho      Sumi-ta-gawa no     dzu.   The famous
                                     ;
            place of Yedo;   the view of Sumitagawa;   a representation which
            appears upon the specimen.










                                           No. 628.

                 Painted   in  gold upon   a  panel  of  pearl  on  an  ancient
            wooden    Medicine Box     decorated  with  lacquer.   Yama-kawa.
             Yamakawa,    the name    of the  maker.
