A LARGE KRAAK PORCELAIN DISH
WANLI PERIOD (1573-1619)
The center is decorated with a vase of peonies and scholar’s rocks on stands within a border
of diaper-flled, demi-petals and below petal-shaped panels enclosing fruit, fowers and
auspicious objects that continue from the well onto the everted, petal-barbed rim. Further
petal-shaped panels enclosing pearls and lingzhi are on the exterior.
