The group is carved in openwork as two recumbent beasts coiled and
facing each other, each clutching a lingzhi in its mouth.

A SMALL WHITE AND BROWN JADE DOG GROUP
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The group is carved as two recumbent dogs, the larger chewing on
a shoe while the smaller is biting the larger dog’s ear. The stone is
somewhat opaque and of pale brown color on the smaller dog.
