A PALE GREYISH-WHITE JADE FIGURE OF THE
SEATED MEDICINE BUDDHA
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The Buddha is shown seated in padmasana and
holding a stupa. He wears layered robes and a
jeweled necklace, and his hair is carved in rows
of curls below the ushnisha. The stone has some
green speckles and white and dark inclusions.
