haped like a disk with a hole that pierces through the cen-
Ster of the body, the top surface of this water dropper is
painted with the Chinese genre of a landscape of mountains
and water (Kr: sansu-do, Ch: shān shuĭ tú). The sides are
straight and decorated with abstract scrolls. The venting hole
is located on the top of the landscape scene, camouflaged by
the painting of a mountain. A small spout from which the
water flows is located on the opposite edge. The water drop-
per rests on a footrim which is free of glaze.
