                                                             Ster of the body, the top surface of this water dropper is
                                                             painted with the Chinese genre of a landscape of mountains
                                                             and water (Kr:  sansu-do, Ch:  shān shuĭ tú). The sides are
                                                             straight and decorated with abstract scrolls. The venting hole
                                                             is located on the top of the landscape scene, camouflaged by
                                                             the painting of a mountain. A small spout from which the
                                                             water flows is located on the opposite edge. The water drop-
                                                             per rests on a footrim which is free of glaze.
