ith a relatively large mouth and slightly flaring neck,
Wthis thickly potted jar has a finely crackled glaze (see
cat. 58 for a description of how crackles occur). The base is
covered in the same crackled glaze and the footrim, with
some kiln grit adhering, was wiped free of glaze before firing.
