A TRANSPARENT GREEN, AND OPAQUE OCHRE AND RED
‘SANDWICHED’ GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
1730-1840
Of compressed tear-drop shape with oval foot rim, the primary color of
a pale pea-green transparent glass, spotted throughout with opaque
specks of ochre and rust-red, all sandwiched between colorless glass
layers suffused with numerous air bubbles adding to the brilliance of
the whole; stopper.
