QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
the tapering rounded body rising to an angled shoulder,
sweeping up to a waisted neck and everted rim, flanked by a
pair of archaistic kui dragon handles, decorated with flower
roundels wreathed in scrolling foliage, repeated on the neck
above a trefoil band and crashing waves at the shoulder, all
between a border of lappets and keyfret around the rim

QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
the ovoid body rising from a splayed foot and sweeping up
to a wide waisted cylindrical neck with galleried rim, flanked
by a pair of mythical beast loop handles, the body and neck
boldly painted in inky tones of cobalt blue with gnarled
branches of peaches, finger citron and pomegranate,
forming the sanduo (Three Abundances), all divided by
trellis, trefoil, foliate, scrolling lingzhi and floral bands
