QING DYNASTY, 18TH – 19TH CENTURY
the tapering body rising from a flared foot to a tall waisted
neck, flanked by a pair of kui dragon handles, the body
painted with bats in flight amongst scrolling clouds, below
stylised kui phoenix medallions and shou roundels framed by
further clouds at the neck, all divided by wave, lappet, key-
fret and floral scroll bands
