A CARVED WHITE-GLAZED VASE, GU
QING DYNASTY, 18TH – 19TH CENTURY
modelled after an archaic bronze shape, carved in low relief
with stylised taotie masks reserved against a leiwen ground,
framed above and below with overlapping cicada lappets,
applied overall with an even opaque glaze pooling at the
recesses, the base with a Yongzheng mark, stand
