                                                                      modelled after an archaic bronze shape, carved in low relief
                                                                      with stylised taotie masks reserved against a leiwen ground,
                                                                      framed above and below with overlapping cicada lappets,
                                                                      applied overall with an even opaque glaze pooling at the
                                                                      recesses, the base with a Yongzheng mark, stand
                                                                      44.5 cm, 17½ in.
