walls molded in raised linear relief with elaborate shou medallions
separating a pair of animal head and mock ring handles, the olive-
green glaze showing extensive craze lines (chipped, bases drilled and
filled).

A DEHUA SEATED FIGURE OF GUANYIN
Dressed in a long mantle that frames her coiffed and crowned head,
falling below an applied cloud collar necklace and enveloping her
body posed with the right knee raised in royal ease on a fantastic
rock base that rises on one side to support her left hand holding
a scroll and an alms bowl on the other, the back stamped Xuande
above an unclear oval seal.

A DEHUA STANDING FIGURE OF THE ‘FISH BASKET’
GUANYIN
Bo ji yu ren mark, 19th century
Posed standing on a rocky plinth emerging from waves, a pearl-
trimmed crown securing a veil across her elaborately arranged
hair and a bead necklace applied between the folds of her layered
garments as she looks serenely down upon a fish-filled basket held in
her right hand, the reverse stamped with a double gourd Dehua seal
above the square bo ji yu ren seal and all surfaces except the foot
pad covered with a lustrous glaze.

A PAIR OF WHITE PORCELAIN FEMALE ATTENDANT FIGURES
Each dressed in flowing robes with elaborately arranged coiffures,
holding a lotus flower and leaf as she stands on an open leaf rising
on a stand fronted with waves and lotus plants (one figure chipped);
each now attached to a wood stand for use as a lamp fixture.
