Dated by inscription to Xuantong third year (1911) 18th/19th century
Its thick wall painted with a pair of dragons facing a canopied reserve Including a pair of foliate rimmed dishes with eight conforming petals
inscribed as dedicated to the Long zhu gu si by the donor Wang molded into the walls, painted with flower-filled reserves surrounding
Mingshan in the third year of the Xuantong reign; the glaze covering a center roundel of further flowers and a garden rock, the reverse
the exterior and portions of the interior wall, leaving the lower well, decorated and a maker’s mark centered on the recessed base
exterior foot and recessed base unglazed. (chips); the third a petal-edged saucer dish painted with a crab
12 1/2in (32cm) high centering a ring of four swimming fish and various floral designs, the
reverse also decorated and bearing a four-character Kangxi mark
$1,200 - 1,800 within a double ring; the fourth a deep dish made for the Vietnamese
market, painted with five dragons amid clouds, the reverse inscribed
6243 bao zhu li ji.

Kangxi period 4 1/2in (11.5cm) average diameter
Molded with eight curving petals painted with alternating landscapes
and flowering branches that surround a larger landscape across the
octagonal floor, the reverse showing further flowering branches and the $800 - 1,200
recessed base bearing a square seal possibly reading xin (chipped).
