A PAIR OF DARK GREEN JADE CANDLESTICKS
Each candlestick is made in two sections, the lower has a domed base carved with pendent
foliate sprays from which rises a hollow columnar support carved with three projecting,
openwork dragon-form fanges. The upper section has a similar fange-fanked column
that rises from the center of the larger, lower drip pan with petal-carved sides to the similar,
smaller drip pan at the top. The highly polished stone is of dark green color.
