A PAIR OF LARGE DARK GREEN JADE GU-SHAPED VASES
Each vase is carved in medium and shallow relief on the trumpet neck with
overlapping plantain leaves, and on the mid-section and the spreading base
with panels of taotie masks. The opaque, dark green stone has areas of darker
and paler green mottling.
